The poison apple design is way more detailed in person, the little skull on the clasp got me. Both mirrors are clear and the hinge feels solid, not flimsy like my last one. Kept it in my bag all week and it hasn't scratched once.
The LED lighting is surprisingly bright, so I can actually touch up my lipstick in a dark Uber without squinting. The poison apple design has a nice weight to it too, doesn't feel like cheap plastic.
The LED ring makes the poison apple design feel almost theatrical when I flip it open in a dark restaurant bathroom. Both mirrors give me that crisp, even light I need for checking my lipstick, and it's honestly become my favorite little vanity piece.
